Biography
It's time to "get the guests." More than 25 years after it last dazzled Broadway, Edward Albee's legendary Tony® Award winning, Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf? returns in a highly anticipated new Broadway production starring Kathleen Turner and Bill Irwin. This brutally hilarious and emotionally searing work by the three-time Pulitzer Prize winner of Three Tall Women and A Delicate Balance will be directed by Anthony Page, who recently directed Albee's The Goat in London.
Kathleen Turner has returned to the stage as Martha in Who´s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? following her appearance in The Graduate on Broadway with Jason Biggs and Alicia Silverstone in 2002 and at London's Gielgud Theatre. Ms. Turner has also starred on Broadway in Jean Cocteau's Indiscretions and as Maggie the Cat in the 1989 revival of Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, for which she earned a Tony nomination for Best Actress in a Play. Other theatre credits include productions of Travesties, The Seagull and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Recently, she starred in Sandra Ryan Heyward's one-woman show Tallulah, which she toured across the U.S.
